Challenges

2011 Challenges

I’m taking part in 3 challenges in 2011, plus my own which is to read 150 books.

The Urban Fantasy Challenge over at Dark Faerie Tales, is to read 24 newly released urban fantasy novels.

  4. Pale Demon, Kim Harrison
  5. Tangled Threads, Jennifer Estep
  6. Hard Bitten, Chloe Neil
  7. Magic Slays by Ilona Andrews
  1. UF Challenge

I’m also signed up for the 2011 paranormal romance challenge over at Bitten By Paranormal Romance. I’m definitely up for reading 20 PNR’s 😀

  2. This Side of the Grave by Jeanene Frost

I’m also taking part in Calico_Reaction’s Book Club where we vote on, and read 1 book a month. Sometimes there are dares (a random book) but I doubt I’ll do the dares to be honest.

Books read so far:

  1. Fledgling by Octavia E. Butler
  2. Curse of the Charlion by Lois McMaster Bjold
  3. Knife of Never Letting Go by Ness Patrick

Finally, I have a mini challenge I’m going to try and complete during December. This challenge will be to read all the books I did not finish during the year. I’m not really looking forward to this one. I hate not finishing books and I only stop if I find the book intolerable.

Books I’ve not finished so far:

  1. The Demon Girl by Penelope Fletcher
  2. Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake
  3. The Turning by Jennifer Armintrout
  4. Stray by Rachel Vincent
